I.E.P. Doesn’t have to mean “Infinite Extra Paperwork”

Streamline assessment, student evaluations, reports and caseload management using

The DEVPRO Motor Skills Assessment is a criterion-referenced test with over 950 skills tasks that are developmentally arranged into 22 sub-tests, for ages birth to 11 years old. Over 70 research resources are used to compile the skills and determine their developmental order according to years and months of attainment and milestones cited in the literature.

Three types of DEVPRO Assessments are offered: (1) the entire test of over 950 skills; (2) The Target Skills Assessment, which includes about 20% of the DEVPRO skills database; and (3) Screens of 15-25 test task items organized by Chronological Ages, from 3 years old to 11 years old.

A student’s test results from The DEVPRO Motor Skills Assessment are written on the DEVPRO Student Record form which merges with a custom-designed template to produce the student’s evaluation summary. Once merged, they can be edited using the assessor’s word-processing program, like Microsoft Word. DEVPRO’s Evaluation Summary produces a complete narrative about the student’s test results, and recommends three goals and behavioral objectives appropriate for I.E.P.’s based on the student’s three lowest sub-test results.

DEVPRO software can re-organize information about the assessor’s caseload of students (even if the assessor has more than one school to serve). Various spreadsheet-like reports compile students’ IEP review dates, school service schedules, rosters by school, etc. The assessor also can create his/her own spreadsheet information using the instructions found in the DEVPRO documentation found on the flash drive provided. All DEVPRO templates for these forms are editable using DEVEDIT.

The assessor will need about 30-60 minutes to assess a student after becoming familiar with the skills sub-tests, and depending on the age and developmental skills abilities of the student. It takes about 30 minutes to enter the student’s test information and produce the typed evaluation summary initially, and about 10 minutes to update the Student Record after the initial assessment.
